- Spiaggia del Dottore and nearby baysStop in one of the small coves south of Capo Ceraso, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Those who are not ready yet can stay on board to sunbathe. Once back on board, we head towards Tavolara.
- TavolaraAbout 20 minutes of navigation to reach Tavolara Bay, where we dock at the Marine Protected Area pontoons. One hour of free time to visit the island independently.
- Cliffs and Madonnina caveAfter departing, we visit the cliffs on the southern side with steep rock faces above the sea, passing by the Madonnina cave, a natural cavity formed by erosion.
- Cala Chiesa with lunchA bay outside the main tourist routes, on the edge of the open sea, usually quiet and therefore ideal for a swim and a relaxed lunch break. Perfect for some snorkeling.
- Molara PoolsStop at the famous Molara Pools with their crystal-clear waters.
- Don Diego and Sassi PiattiRight in front of Molara, on the Sardinian coast, lies Cala Girgolu. The bay is wide and dotted with small coves worth a stop.

We did a tour in early April before the season started and ferries didn’t go to Tavolara island. Fortunately we met Max a day prior to our tour at Porto San Paolo and booked a tour on the spot for the next day. The boat was very clean and modern, with plenty of comfortable seating and lying opportunities to enjoy the ride. Our 4 hour tour included free fruits and biscuits, a lot of insights into Tavolara and its surrounding islands by Max and Simone, 4 stops with stunning views and rental of snorkeling equipment. Also Max gave us a discount which is much appreciated. We had a lot of fun and recommend this tour if you want to explore Tavolara from the seaside.
